Caramelized Onion & Brie Bread Bowl using Italian Cheese Beer Bread Mix

  • Bag Italian Cheese Beer Bread Mix
  • 330 ml Beer of Choice
  • 2-3 Tbsp Melted Butter
  • 1 Round Brie Cheese
  • 1 Onion Thinly Sliced & Caramalised

  • Bag Italian Cheese Beer Bread Mix
  • 330 ml Beer of Choice
  • 2-3 Tbsp Melted Butter
  • 1 Round Brie Cheese
  • 1 Onion Thinly Sliced & Caramalised
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 180°
  2. Combine Bread Mix and Beer. Stir to blend
  3. Pour the butter into a greased medium-sized round bottomed, deep stainless steel mixing bowl
  4. Spoon batter over the butter and smooth out the top
  5. Bake for 50-55 minutes
  6. Cool completely
  7. Invert bread into a baking pan and cut top fourth off bread; hollow out enough bread from the inside to make room for the cheese
  8. Cube removed bread; set aside and use for finished dip
  9. Cut cheese in half horizontally
  10. Layer half of the cheese then half the onions and repeat layers
  11. Bake 30-35 minutes or until cheese is melted
  12. Let stand 10 minutes before cutting
